Boaters Park

Accessible only by boat, Boaters Park in Broward County is a great place to dock and have a little picnic! The park is in two sections, each with restroom facilities and maybe ten picnic areas with small grills. It's shady and pretty, with a nice view of the canal. A little odd is the view the other way - a chain-link fence that runs the entire length of the park, separating it from an area of construction equipment, and a road. But, that's easy to ignore. It's never very crowded, so it's a nice place for a little solitude and a break from the water. We took our dogs, and they thoroughly enjoyed it. We were a little concerned that one of the enormous iguanas would attack our Chihuahua, but they made themselves scarce. All in all, we had a nice picnic, and a nice time at Boaters Park.

Boaters Park is located on the north side of the Dania Cutoff Canal just west of Ravenswood Road. The point mapped is directly across the canal from the park.
