H.P. Williams Roadside Park is located within the Big Cypress National Preserve along Tamiami Trail in Ochopee. It's a small park, named for Collier Company engineer Homer P. Williams, with a few picnic tables, an observation boardwalk along the canal, and restrooms. While we didn't see any alligators (wrong season), there are reported to be lots of them hanging around the canal when the season is right. H.P. Williams is not a destination point, but a nice stop on the way through Big Cypress.
