Lake Trail

Running along the Intracoastal Waterway on Palm Beach is the paved Lake Trail. The path is perfect for walking, biking, or skating, and offers a unparalleled view of West Palm Beach and a unique behind-the -scenes peek at the mansions that border the trail. Enormous trees, extravagant swimming pools, and luxurious houses greet the passer-by. Locals walk their dogs and get in some exercise along the path, and visitors and residents alike enjoy the sights. It's particularly stunning at night, when the landscaping lights are fully visible in the lush yards and gardens, and the West Palm city lights are shining.
