Light Harbor Park

Light Harbor Park Light Harbor Park in Riviera Beach isn't so much a park as it is a parking lot - but that's fine. This new "park" was just dedicated in May 2009 and is a welcome addition to Palm Beach County's existing boat ramps. This park features three ramps and has parking for 72 trailers, as well as 20 standard car spaces. The park is located just west of the north end of Peanut Island, making it an excellent launch for a day at the sand bar, and might relieve some traffic at Phil Foster and Currie Park. The day we visited, Light Harbor Park seemed very popular with personal watercraft riders. There's a nice restroom building, two picnic pavilions (no grills) on the water, and courtesy docking for maybe 5 boats.

Light Harbor Park is open sunrise to sunset.
