Loggerhead Park

This great park is home to the North District Beach Patrol Headquarters, a Marinelife Center, and the Celestial Railroad Historical Site. In addition to 900 feet of guarded beach, you'll find many other ways to spend your time - try some saltwater fishing; play a little tennis, volleyball, or even horseshoes; take a walk on the nature trail; visit the activity center; or simply laze in the sun while you wait for you lunch to grill at one of the picnic shelters. Much of the park is hadicapped-accessible, and it is open from sunrise to sunset, except for the lighted facilities, which are open until 11:00 PM. The beach is a quick walk across a two-lane road and down the dune.
