Pendarvis Cove Park
Pendarvis Cove Park in Palm City claims to have a boat ramp. We'd heard rumblings about something being strange about it, and we found out: the shellrock ramp is for non-motorized boats only. Fortunately, we'd already chosen an alternate ramp at Shepard Park.The park itself has three picnic areas. I found the park to be overgrown and ill-kept, but there were still people picnicking. There are five or six trailer parking spaces, and more for cars. There are also restrooms.
A little online research shows that Martin County didn't want Pendarvis Cove anymore. Instead of closing it they all but handed it to the St Lucie Sailing Club.
