Colohatchee Park

Colohatchee Park Colohatchee Park is a small community park located in Wilton Manors. The premier attraction at this park is the boardwalk leading through the mangroves along the Middle River. There's also a playground, a volleyball court, a basketball court, and a big picnic pavilion. Restrooms are located in the back of the park near the courts. Allegedly there's a dog play area at Colohatchee, but I don't remember seeing it - there's a $30 fee for Wilton Manors residents to use the dog recreation area, and $60 fee for non-residents, which could be why there were no dogs.

We were at Colohatchee Park on a nice Saturday afternoon, and there pretty much weren't any people around. It's not something I'd recommend for a tourist, but it's pretty nice for a local, especially the boardwalk. But then, a lot of Broward community parks offer the same or better.
