Ocean Inlet Park

I spent many a night talking to friends on this great beach. There is more than adequate parking, especially in the evening, and when I was younger, it was a great place to hang out (don't worry - we weren't the rowdy sort, and no one there ever was). Ocean Inlet Park, just east of Boynton Beach and situated along the intracoastal waterway, offers picnic pavillions and a playground. A snack bar is sometimes open. There are also a marina and about 20 rentable boat slips. A volleyball area provides land recreation. Across the street from the parking and picninc areas, you'll find 600 feet of guarded beach, complete with a jetty. Aside from my great memories of this place, it's still a really good area for fun. The park is officially open from sunrise to sunset, with 24-hour fishing from the jetty, but we used to walk the beach at all hours.
