Roji-en Japanese Gardens
The Roji-en Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach offer a trip through time via Japanese-style gardens. Designed by Hoichi Kurisu, each of the six gardens reflects a different period of Japanese garden style. Included are Shinden Gardens of the Heian period, Paradise Gardens from the Kamakura and early Muromachi Periods, Early Rock Gardens from the early Muromachi Period, Late Rock Gardens of the Muromachi Period, Flat Gardens of the Edo Period, and Modern Romantic Gardens from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These stunning replications provide the visitor with a tranquility not often found in today's busy world, and it's definitely a trip worth taking.Roji-en: Garden of the Drops of Dew, The George D. and Harriet W. Cornell Japanese Gardens are located on 16 acres of The Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens. Admission to the gardens in included with admission the the entire park. The Museum and Gardens are open Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and closed Mondays and national holidays. Fees are $6 for children, $9 for seniors, and $10 for adults.
