The main draws of South Inlet Park are the beach and the fishing pier. This park spans the land from the Intracoastal to the Atlantic, with 850 feet of beach with guards. Take a stroll on the pier for simple sightseeing, or bring along your gear for some great saltwater fishing. Picnic tables with grills are provided, as is a picnic pavilion (available by reservation only). Send the kids to the playground, or teach them some skills at sand volleyball. This is also a great setting for canoeing or kayaking, or even windsurfing; all water sporting must take place outside of the guarded area. Restrooms are available, as are showers (outside). The is a fee for parking, and the park is open sunrise to sunset.
