West Delray Regional Park

Formerly known as Palm Beach Downs Park, this 313-acre park reopened as West Delray Regional Park in October of 2007. The landscape is dotted with 38 acres of ponds and lakes, and the flora is abundant. Hiking and biking trails weave through the trees, while remote control airplanes soar above an open field. There's a canoe and kayak launching area, and there are picnic tables with grills. If primitive camping is your thing, you can try it out here, and do some freshwater fishing.

Permits are required for the camping area and airplane field, as well as for the archery space and the remote control boat lake. the park is open sunrise to sunset.
